On December 12, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai held an extended meeting with residents of Aktau. Over 600 people participated in the work of the dialogue platform, and issues of concern to the population were raised.
It was planned to implement 8 investment projects in Aktau in 2024. These include an aerated concrete production plant, an ammonium sulfate production plant, the construction of the Abai National School, a wholesale distribution center, a multifunctional production base and the construction of residential complexes.
At the moment, 7 projects have been implemented. The remaining project will be completed by the end of the year. In the next three years, 21 new investment projects will be implemented, which will increase the economic potential of the region.
During the meeting, local residents raised many topical issues, such as drinking water, the heating system, the stability of food prices, road signs, housing, intra-district roads, and the problems of shareholders. Proposals for the development of tourism, culture and sports were also announced.
The akim of the region listened to the appeals of residents and instructed responsible managers to find solutions to the issues within the framework of the law.
After the meeting, Nurdaulet Kilybai began receiving registered residents of the city on personal issues.
