The President held a meeting with the CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Mohammed Al-Shamisiy, reports inAktau.kz . with reference to Akorda.
The meeting was devoted to discussing the prospects for bilateral cooperation, as well as the implementation of previously reached agreements in the transport and logistics industry.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Abu Dhabi Ports' plans to build a number of large facilities, stressing that these initiatives are in line with Kazakhstan's strategic interests in developing maritime and port infrastructure on the Caspian Sea.
The Head of State stressed that the development of transport infrastructure and transit corridors is of great importance for ensuring sustainable economic growth in the country and boosting international trade.
Mohammed Al-Shamisi thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his continued support in the implementation of joint investment projects.
He also informed the President about the mutually beneficial cooperation with the Samruk-Kazyna Foundation and the national company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy
Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Mohammed Al-Shamisi expressed confidence in the successful implementation of joint projects.
