14 major projects are planned to be implemented in the Mangystau region by 2027. These projects are aimed, among other things, at the development of the tourism cluster. There are plans to build hotel complexes with 150 beds each in Bozzhyra and Airakty, and a wellness complex and children's recreation camps for up to 500 people on the Caspian coast. In addition, domestic and international flights from Aktau International Airport will increase to 28 destinations. A new airport will be built in Kenderli.
The Mangystau railway station has been reconstructed and currently receives 2.5 thousand passengers per day. In the next 5 years, it is planned to upgrade 250 passenger train cars from Mangystau and create a ferry fleet in the port of Kuryk.
