At a briefing of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai said that all necessary measures are being taken to solve the problems of shareholders related to long-term construction.
The governor of the region acknowledged that there are many problems with long-term construction in the region. He noted that he has been dealing with this problem for several years, starting from the period when he held the position of akim of Aktau.
Today, there are many problematic houses in the region, more than 30 of them are under trial and are subject to demolition. To resolve issues with long—term construction, we have created a regional commission, which includes the heads of the regional akimat and representatives of law enforcement agencies," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
The mayor stated that it is necessary to complete all these facilities, since behind each of them are residents of our region, in other words, shareholders.
We have created a commission and we demand, first of all, to make sure that these construction sites are safe. We have notified all developers that there is an institute in Almaty that verifies the technical safety of facilities under construction. If this institute gives a positive conclusion, a kind of permission to continue construction, then we, in turn, will give permission for further construction. Yes, there have been cases when developers did not have enough funds, in which case we will negotiate with other investors," concluded the governor of the region.
